It is not enough to just figure out the logistics of the thing, but planning and organizing have helped me feel more comfortable traveling solo...well, except for my four-pawed companion. I have had plenty of time to overthink this matter...but, having had time to process and consider all the recommendations, I'm hopeful I am resolved on the best options for the equipment, enjoyment and safety of my trip.

Considered, but not limited to:
Making sure the house is managed and cleaned, bills paid, friend/family set up to track my phone and car, call credit cards, right amount food/clothes, Sassenach's pjs/toys/vet visit, camping equipment, bedding, vitamins/medication, Podcasts (recommendations/downloads), books (recommendations/downloads/paperbacks), sketch pad, game book, downloaded movies/tv series), Oregon wines for my stop overs, foam roller, yoga mat, running shoes, hiking shoes, Tevas, Birkenstocks, hats, sun block/bug spray...you get the point. Oh...my Tevas just reminded me to pack my bathing suit!
Two days left and my checklist is slowly getting ticked off. Night prior, I just need to fill up the water supply (6 gallon jug, shower, water bottles), get last minute produce, do the last bit of laundry, bathe Sassenach, tank up/pack up and load the Chevy.
Deep breathe, and I think we will be good to go!
